French house bastion Terence :Terry: will release his first ever compilation on April 13th on his La Vie En Rose label, entitled ‘House Couture’.
The compilation features unreleased material from the label’s artist roster, plus some past and present gems. “The main idea was to show the vision of the label with a DJ mix” says Terry. “I wanted it more as a journey with different atmospheres rather than a classical progression DJ mix that we all already know. I wanted it like the kind of house music we’ve been playing – which allows us to travel between differents moods.”
Says Terry of how he brought together this pool of talent: “When I started, I produced for Freak n’ Chic, 2020 Vision, Robsoul and so on, and from that time certains artists were following me – so it was logical to work with them after and bring them into La Vie En Rose. I’m so happy that we discovered talents through the label, and now those talents are starting to influence other people and me too.
Further releases on the label are incoming from Parisian legend Jerome Pacman, Livio & Roby, Acid Mondays, Paolo Rocco and Raw Moments – plus “an album is coming from a French duo – but I can’t say more.”
