From an MTV VJ to an actor celebrated for his work in the ‘Scary Movie’ franchise, Simon Rex, known also as Dirt Nasty, has forged a distinctive path in entertainment, culminating in a critically acclaimed lead role in ‘Red Rocket’. After establishing himself as a model for brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein Inc, Versace, and Levi’s in 1994, Simon Rex went on to become an MTV VJ, a role he held for over two years starting in 1995, introducing him to a wider audience. Transitioning into acting, Rex debuted in the comedy-drama television series ‘Jack & Jill’ from 1999 to 2001, followed by a main role in the sitcom ‘What I Like About You’ from 2002 to 2003. His early film career saw him join the popular ‘Scary Movie’ franchise, appearing in ‘Scary Movie 3’ in 2003.
