Official resident DJ for Space Ibiza’s international tours, Javi Bora has played in some of the best clubs and finest festivals in all corners of the world, bringing his uniquely uplifting brand of house music to Ibiza, London, Berlin, Tokyo, Barcelona, and Moscow while playing at Elrow, Kompakt Records and Vagabundos events.

Javi Bora has earned recognition and respect as one of Ibiza’s most talented DJs over an illustrious career that spans genres, decades and multiple residencies at some of the White Isle’s most iconic clubs. Nominated for Best Artist at the Vicious Music Awards three times in a row, Bora’s passion and talent for his craft has certified him as one of the most visionary and gifted DJs on the international circuit. Playing sets based around deep house and techno that skilfully incorporate influences from funk and jazz while taking detours into Latin and African music, Javi takes listeners on a journey of discovery every time he steps behind the decks.

Javi’s productions strike a balance between classic, vibrant house and groovy tech-house futurism, drawing support and admiration from a long list of legends: Carl Cox, Steve Lawler, Laurent Garnier, Loco Dice, DJ Sneak, Groove Armada, and John Digweed are all fans. He’s played a part in seminal projects such as Richie Hawtin’s ENTER compilation while releasing consistently across industry-leading imprints: Defected, VIVa MUSiC, Suara, Robsoul, Do Not Sleep, Stereo Productions and 2020 Vision. As label owner and creative director of Too Many Rules, one of house music’s leading lights, Javi highlights the work of emerging talents and established greats, releasing heat from Roger Sanchez, DJ Sneak, Groove Armada and Todd Terry.
