Kurd Maverick

Cihan Ötün, known professionally as Kurd Maverick, is a Turkish-born German house record producer and DJ based in Solingen, Germany. He has established himself within the electronic music genre, specializing in tech house. Maverick’s career has involved consistent releases that have been supported by various DJs across different genres, including David Guetta. His performances extend to clubs and festivals, showcasing his style behind the decks.

Throughout his career, Kurd Maverick has achieved several milestones in music production. He has released numerous singles, beginning in 2006 with “The Rub (I Never Rock)” and a collaboration with Eddie Thoneick on “Love Sensation 2006.” His discography includes tracks like “Let’s Work” (2007), “Love Emergency” (2009) with Sam Obernik, and “Shine a Light” (2010). More recently, he released “Lonely” in 2019 with Eddie Thoneick featuring Errol Reid, and has a forthcoming collaboration “PYHU (Put Your Hands Up)” with Hugel in 2025.

Beyond original productions, Kurd Maverick is also known for his remix work. He has remixed tracks for notable artists such as Robbie Williams, Basement Jaxx, and Bob Sinclar.
