Marshmello has established himself as a prominent figure in electronic music, celebrated for his chart-topping productions and impactful brand collaborations. After gaining recognition in early 2015 by publishing remixes online and quickly garnering support from established musicians like Skrillex, Marshmello released his debut studio album, Joytime, in January 2016 through his own label, Joytime Collective. The album featured the commercial single ‘Keep It Mello’ and reached number five on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Songs chart. Later that year, his single ‘Alone,’ released via Monstercat, marked his first entry on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 60, and received quintuple platinum certification from the RIAA.
In 2023, Marshmello expanded his artistic range by releasing his fifth album, Sugar Papi, marking his debut Latin album. Beyond his musical endeavors, he has explored other ventures, including successful YouTube series focused on gaming and cooking, and engaged in philanthropic activities, such as making a significant donation to the KIND Foundation after winning a charity tournament. Looking ahead, Marshmello launched the band Underbrook in 2025 and released the track ‘Slow Motion’ with the Jonas Brothers, further solidifying his position as a dynamic and versatile force in the entertainment industry.
