Mount Kimbie, the innovative electronic music duo formed by Dominic Maker and Kai Campos in 2008, has significantly influenced the music landscape with their unique sound. Initially rooted in the UK dubstep scene, they quickly evolved, releasing their acclaimed debut album “Crooks & Lovers” in 2010. This album was celebrated for its groundbreaking approach, earning a spot on numerous ‘Best of the Decade’ lists, including DJ Mag’s, and establishing them as key figures in the post-dubstep movement.

In 2012, Mount Kimbie signed with Warp Records, a pivotal moment that led to the release of their sophomore album, “Cold Spring Fault Less Youth” in 2013. This album showcased their growth as artists, blending electronic, art pop, and ambient influences. Their collaboration with notable artists like James Blake and King Krule further solidified their reputation, as they toured extensively across the US and Europe, captivating audiences with their dynamic live performances.

The duo continued to push boundaries with their third album, “Love What Survives,” released in 2017, which received critical acclaim and was hailed as their most affecting work to date. In 2022, Mount Kimbie released “MK 3.5: Die Cuts | City Planning,” showcasing their versatility and artistic evolution.
