Maty Noyes

Maty Noyes, born Madeline Ashley Noyes on August 25, 1997, in Corinth, Mississippi, began her musical journey at a young age despite initial reluctance toward piano lessons. At 12, she started writing her own songs after picking up an acoustic guitar. Her early influences included artists such as The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Marvin Gaye, and James Brown. During her teenage years, she moved to Nashville at age 16 to pursue her music career, regularly performing at open mic nights and building industry connections. This foundational period in Nashville led her to Los Angeles, further advancing her professional aspirations in the music industry.

Noyes achieved significant recognition in 2015 while still a teenager, providing vocals for The Weeknd’s song “Angel” from his Grammy-winning album “Beauty Behind the Madness.” Later that year, she contributed lead vocals to Kygo’s track “Stay,” which attained international success and reached Gold status in multiple countries including the UK, Australia, Italy, New Zealand, and Poland. Her involvement in these high-profile projects marked a turning point in her career. In 2015, her song “Haunted” was included in the soundtrack for the film “Secret in Their Eyes.” Following these collaborations, Noyes began releasing her own material, starting with her debut solo single “In My Mind” in 2016, from her first EP, “Noyes Complaint.” She also lent her vocals to Yellow Claw’s “Drowning in Champagne” in the same year. In 2017, she released the single “Say It to My Face,” and in 2021, her debut album “The Feeling’s Mutual” was released via MITS Records.

Throughout her career, Noyes has consistently demonstrated her abilities as both a vocalist and a songwriter, contributing to various projects while developing her solo artistry. She signed with Slush Management and has been affiliated with record labels such as MITS Records, Republic Records, and Lava Records. Her work has included further collaborations with artists like Vanic, Lemaitre, Mokita, and adam&steve, as well as the release of her second EP, “Love Songs from a Lolita” in 2018. Her career progression highlights a steady transition from a featured vocalist on hit tracks to an independent artist with a growing discography.
