Muse

Muse, a rock band hailing from Teignmouth, Devon, has evolved from local battle of the bands winners to global stadium headliners, consistently pushing musical boundaries. After winning a local Battle of the Bands competition in 1994, Muse quickly garnered industry attention, leading to the release of their debut EP, ‘Muse,’ on Dangerous Records in 1998. The band, comprised of Matt Bellamy (lead vocals, guitar, keyboards), Chris Wolstenholme (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Dominic Howard (drums, percussion), continued to build momentum with their ‘Muscle Museum EP’ in 1999, which attracted the notice of radio broadcaster Steve Lamacq and NME magazine. A pivotal moment occurred in December 1998 when Muse secured a deal with American record label Maverick Records, followed by subsequent agreements across Europe and Australia that ensured their creative control.

As of October 2022, Muse had achieved remarkable commercial success, selling over 30 million albums worldwide, reinforcing their position as an enduring and globally recognized rock act. Their ninth studio album, ‘Will of the People,’ debuted in 2022, further demonstrating their sustained artistic vision and continued relevance in the music industry.
