Worldwide chart successes and appearances at the best clubs in the world, it is all just part of being Tom Novy. This comes as no surprise though, as he is widely regarded as one of the few exceptionally gifted artists in the music scene. His reputation is not undeserved: Tom has been part of most facets of the music industry, from production to DJing, and even the visual aspect having been a VJ since his early beginnings in the dance music industry.
Tom Novy released his first record ‘I House You’ in 1995, which directly entered the top 10 of the German Dance Charts. Only one year later he gained international reputation with his single ‘Superstar’, which climbed into the various international Top 20 charts. The beginning of the naughties saw Tom’s breakthrough into the UK market. His Top 20 hit ‘Pumpin’ was followed by the release of his Ministry of Sound Annual Compilation, making him the first German artist in this series. Tom’s excellent taste in music and forward thinking musical talent and vision has been appreciated by many other bands and musicians. He has remixed and produced for 10CC, Backstreet Boys, DJ Thomilla, Erick Morillo, Jimmy Sommerville to name but a few. Not to be outdone, he has hosted several TV-shows, among them ‘Dance Floor Charts’, ‘Streetlife’, ‘Battle of DJs’ and ‘Nightlife’ on MTV, as well as the ‘Mac Chart-Show’ on Pro 7. Tom currently resides in Germany, where he maintains a weekly radio show on FFM as well as a hit show on Radio Energy Munich, which he has hosted for over ten years and is broadcasted internationally.
