Victor Calderone

Victor Calderone has established a career as a DJ, producer, and remixer, contributing to the electronic music scene since the 1980s. After signing a contract deal with music mogul Seymour Stein’s Sire Records in 1991 as half of the techno act Program 2 alongside Gene LaFosse, Victor Calderone quickly established his trajectory as a formidable DJ, producer, and remixer. Following Program 2’s debut album, Calderone returned to the music industry with his first solo record, ‘Give It Up’ in 1997. This period saw him secure influential residencies at renowned clubs like the legendary Roxy in New York and Liquid in Miami Beach, laying the groundwork for his global presence.

Expanding his artistic output, Calderone formed The Collaboration with Peter Rauhofer, a partnership that yielded a multi-CD set and hit singles, including ‘Are You Satisfied?’ which topped the charts for two weeks in 2001. He continued to build his solo discography, releasing albums such as E=VC² (1999), E=VC², Vol. 2 (2001), Resonate (2003), and Statrax Unmixed, Vol. 1 (2004).

In 2005, Calderone cemented his global brand presence by launching ‘Evolve,’ an umbrella for his acclaimed international residencies. These residencies spanned cities including Montreal, Tel Aviv, and Bulgaria, alongside a prominent monthly residency at Pacha in New York. The ‘Evolve’ brand quickly became synonymous with Calderone’s signature sets, celebrated for their innovative integration of diverse musical elements. He further expanded his album catalogue with Evolve in 2007.
