112 is an American R&B group known for its smooth harmonies and chart-topping hits that span collaborations and solo ventures. After forming as Forte in 1993, the American R&B group 112 quickly garnered attention, performing across Atlanta’s talent shows, churches, and schools. Their distinct smooth harmonies caught the eye of record production duo Tim & Bob, leading to an audition for Sean ‘Puff Daddy’ Combs. Impressing Combs, along with Bad Boy producer Chucky Thompson and artist Faith Evans, secured their signing with Bad Boy Records, an imprint of Arista Records, in 1995.
After a period of individual solo projects, the group reunited for a notable performance at the BET Awards in 2015. Their highly anticipated sixth studio album, ‘Q, Mike, Slim, Daron,’ marked their first release in 12 years when it debuted in 2017, reaffirming their enduring artistry and appeal to fans.
