36 Crazyfists is an American metal band known for their consistent musical output and touring across North America and Europe. After signing with Roadrunner Records in 2000, American metal band 36 Crazyfists released their major label debut album, ‘Bitterness the Star’, on April 4, 2002. This pivotal release launched them into extensive tours across North America and Europe, sharing stages with prominent acts such as Candiria and Killswitch Engage. Formed in 1994, the band, featuring vocalist Brock Lindow, guitarist Steve Holt, and drummer Thomas Noonan, had previously built a strong foundation through independent releases.

71 on the UK Albums Chart and reaching No. 2 on the BBC’s Rock Albums chart. The band maintained a rigorous touring schedule throughout this period, solidifying their presence in the global metalcore scene. The band continued their prolific career with ‘The Tide and Its Takers’ in 2008, and in 2009, they filmed their first live DVD, ‘Underneath a Northern Sky’.

Further studio albums included ‘Collisions and Castaways’ (2010), ‘Time and Trauma’ (2015), and ‘Lanterns’ (2017). Throughout these years, 36 Crazyfists maintained an active touring presence, participating in major festivals such as the Summer Meltdown Festival, and releasing material under various labels including DRT Entertainment, Ferret Music, and Spinefarm Records. With a discography boasting eight studio albums, 36 Crazyfists carved a distinctive niche in the metal genre, characterized by the enduring creative partnership of key members Brock Lindow and Steve Holt from their inception. Their active career, which saw global touring and consistent studio releases, concluded with their reported disbandment in 2021.
