Alaska 5000, known professionally as Alaska Thunderfuck, is a versatile entertainerrecognized for her drag artistry, music, and media presence, offering unique brand engagement opportunities. After achieving widespread recognition as the runner-up on the fifth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2013, Alaska 5000 has cultivated a multifaceted career spanning drag artistry, music, and media production. Alaska initially established a presence in the drag community through regular performances at the West Hollywood club Fubar and in Trannyshack shows around 2007-2009. By 2010, Alaska became a central figure in the Pittsburgh drag scene, co-founding the band and later drag troupe, Haus of Haunt, with Sharon Needles and Cherri Baum.

Following her breakthrough on RuPaul’s Drag Race, Alaska continued to build momentum, starring as Dr. Frank N. Furter in ‘The Rocky Horror Show’ in 2013 and becoming a spokesmodel for American Apparel in 2014. Her music career launched with the release of her debut album, ‘Anus’, in 2015, preceding her triumphant win on the second season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars in 2016.

That same year, Alaska released her second studio album, ‘Poundcake’. Alaska 5000s dynamic career continued to evolve with appearances on television, including competing on VH1’s ‘Scared Famous’ in 2017. In 2018, she began co-hosting the highly popular podcast ‘Race Chaser’ with Willam Belli, further solidifying her media presence. The same year, Alaska released the collaborative album ‘Amethyst Journey’ with Jeremy Mikush.

Her production credits also extend to numerous music videos. Most recently, Alaska 5000 has taken on a starring role as Princess in the theatrical production ‘Dungeons and Drag Queens’, with performances scheduled from 2023 through 2025.
