Alexandra Prince is the girl that has been taking the dance scene by storm with her rare talents and cunning creativity. Alexandra’s musical gift has been with her since the day she was born. At the tender age of fourteen she had her first taste of professional studio work and is still demonstrating her awesome talent with her continuous delivery of high quality productions. In 1996 she met Toni Cottura, the producer of Booya, by chance. Toni immediately recognised her potential and gave Alexandra a deal as a solo artist.
In the following years she sang nearly every top hit for the Booya Family and lent her amazing voice to Nana’s #1 hit ‘Lonely’. Her success made her a high profile artist and so it was about time for a project of her own. Her first solo single ‘How We Livin’ was a top 30 hit and stayed in the charts for a full 16 weeks. In 2005 came the release that placed Prince on the map with the single ‘So Many Times’, on which she collaborated with Gadjo. Apart from lending her voice to the track, she also provided her talents as a song-writer and wrote the hit that reached #1 in the Worldwide Dance Charts and #22 in the official UK Single Charts. Alexandra has showcased her talents on several collaborations including the singles ‘I Can’t Get Enough’ (featuring Fireflies), ‘Rising High’, ‘Hi ‘N’ Bye’ (featuring Till West & Eddie Thoneick), ‘Show Me What You Got’ (featuring Plastik Funk) and ‘Higher State’/’Continental GT’ (featuring Funkstar De Luxe). In light of all this it is no wonder Alexandra Prince is currently working with the biggest DJs in the international house scene. Her most recent titles were produced in collaboration with Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso, Syke ‘N’ Sugarstarr and the high fliers Till West & DJ Delicious. She writes songs for Oliver Moldan, DJ Moguai, the label Deep Dish and many more.
