Alter Bridge, formed in 2004 in Orlando, Florida, emerged from the ashes of the rock band Creed, showcasing the talents of Myles Kennedy, Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall, and Scott Phillips. Their debut album, “One Day Remains,” released in August 2004, achieved commercial success, reaching No. 5 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and earning gold certification. This album laid the foundation for their distinctive sound, characterized by heavy yet melodic rock, and established their presence in the music industry.

In 2007, Alter Bridge released their critically acclaimed second album, “Blackbird,” which featured hit singles like “Rise Today” and “Watch Over You.” The album solidified their reputation as a formidable force in rock music, with the title track’s guitar solo being recognized as one of the greatest of all time.
