Amelia Moore

Amelia Moore is an alternative pop and R&B singer-songwriter who was raised in a Christian household in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Her early musical training involved singing in her church choir and participating in church musicals. Pop music later became a significant influence. While attending Belmont University in Nashville, she became involved in songwriting and music production, focusing on left-field styles. After initial visits, Moore relocated to Los Angeles at age 18 to pursue a career in music, describing her journey as “homeschool to Hollywood.” This transition from a conservative background to the entertainment industry influenced her artistic development.

Moore’s career gained momentum through collaborations and releases. She partnered with electronic producer Pink Slip, which helped refine her musical style and visual presentation. In 2021, she signed with Capitol Records and released “Sweet and Sour,” a track that combined sensual vocals with electronic production and quickly gained traction. A follow-up single, “Vinegar,” was released later that year. She also embarked on a major tour supporting her label mate FLETCHER. Moore debuted her seven-song EP, “teaching a robot to love,” in 2022. This period marked a significant phase in her professional growth, establishing her presence in the alternative pop and R&B landscape. She followed this with additional releases.

Throughout 2023, Moore continued to build her discography with collaborations, including “Next Door” with ASTN and “FUMD” featuring Jxdn. These partnerships expanded her reach and solidified her sound, which incorporates dark R&B influences, as heard in tracks like “That Girl” and “Push Up Bra.” These songs eventually appeared on her second EP, “he’s just not that into you!,” released in 2024. In 2025, she signed with Republic Records, further advancing her career trajectory. Moore maintains a public persona on social media, notably through her handles (@icryatwork), which reflect her commitment to emotional transparency in her music and public interactions.
