After a breakthrough performance filling in for Train at the 2009 Bite of Las Vegas Festival for over 26,000 people, Dan Reynolds went on to establish Imagine Dragons in 2008, ultimately recruiting Ben McKee, Daniel Platzman, and Wayne Sermon to complete the lineup. The bands trajectory accelerated with their signing to Interscope Records in November 2011. Imagine Dragons released their debut studio album, Night Visions, on September 4, 2012.
