Amenazzy

Amenazzy, born José Daniel Betances, is a Dominican artist who has transitioned from local freestyle battles to an international music career, adeptly blending R&B, reggaeton, and trap romantico. After gaining initial recognition in local freestyle rap battles, Amenazzy made his first professional mark featuring on ‘Despues del Party’ by Los Mellos on the Track in 2013. His career saw a significant launch in 2015 with the release of the hit single ‘La Chanty,’ which rapidly garnered millions of views on YouTube. In 2016, he released further singles including ‘Me Hace Falta’ and ‘Sin Maquillaje,’ the latter featuring Don Miguelo.

Amenazzy’s career has been marked by extensive collaborations, notably guided by mentor Alex Gárgolas, working with artists including Bryant Myers, El Alfa, Lary Over, Arcangel, and Farruko.
