Ami

Ami is a Romanian singer and songwriter recognized for her pop and dance music, achieving chart success and collaborating with notable artists. After gaining significant exposure as a vocal backing artist for Paula Seling starting in 2009 and as a contestant on the first season of X Factor in 2011, AMI achieved her breakthrough with the 2012 debut single ‘Trumpet Lights.’ A collaboration with producer David Deejay, the track reached an impressive position 3 on the Top Airplay 100 charts. Building on a strong musical foundation, which included 12 years of violin study and specialized Jazz Composition-Light Music training at the National University of Music in Bucharest, AMI collaborated with Grasu XXL on ‘Deja Vu’ in 2013. This pivotal track topped the Romanian charts and secured four awards at the Media Music Awards Gala in 2014, also notably marking her first single in Romanian and signaling a significant evolution in her musical style.

Mafia, peaking at number 3 on the Top Airplay 100. Demonstrating her ongoing presence and versatility in the music industry, she released ‘Butterfly Dance’ in collaboration with Sasha Lopez in 2022. AMI further showcased her songwriting and performance skills with the 2023 single ‘Nostalgia,’ which she co-wrote with Florian Rus.
