Amber Hayes, an Oklahoma native, began her career in entertainment portraying Kathy Twitty in the 2008 Conway Twitty musical production, “Conway Twitty: The Man, The Music, The Legend…”. This role provided an early platform for her in the music industry. In 2010, Hayes signed with FUNL Music, leading to the release of her debut album, “C’mon”. The album produced two Top 40 singles on the national MusicRow Country Breakout chart: “C’mon” and “Wait”, which peaked at No. 38 and No. 35 respectively. Her debut video for “C’mon” was also released in 2010, followed by the video for “Wait” in 2011, which premiered on Yallwire.
Her career expanded into film and television in 2012. Hayes appeared in the major motion picture “Cowgirls ‘n Angels”, which featured three of her songs, “C’mon”, “Right As Rain”, and “Always There For Me” on its soundtrack. Notably, she performed a duet with Richie McDonald of Lonestar in the film. Concurrently, her music was featured in four episodes of The CW Network’s series “Hart of Dixie”. In October 2012, she released her second album, “Any Day Is A Good Day”, under GMV Nashville and A-OK Entertainment. This period marked significant recognition, with Billboard magazine naming her an “Artist to Watch” in 2013 and her single “Any Day Is A Good Day” reaching the Top 30.
Throughout her career, Hayes has toured internationally, including shows in China, Japan, and Sweden with label mate Ty Herndon. She continued her acting roles, appearing in the 2014 sequel “Cowgirls ‘n Angels: Dakota’s Summer”, performing her rendition of “Cotton Eyed Joe” and contributing her song “Home” to the soundtrack. In November 2014, she released the 5-song EP, “Running Out of Memories”, featuring new material and a remix of “Me & Loretta”. Beyond her creative endeavors, Hayes has also taken on a leadership role as SVP at Rasberry Producer Group, where she focuses on supporting independent agents.
