Anthony Brown & group therAPy launched their influential career with the self-titled debut album, released on August 21, 2012, through Tyscot Records. Produced by Brown and Justin Savage, this breakthrough project quickly charted on the Billboard 200, Top Gospel Albums, and Independent Albums charts. The album garnered significant industry recognition, earning 11 Stellar Award nominations and a Dove Award nomination for Contemporary Gospel/Urban Album of the Year in 2012. By 2013, Anthony Brown & group therAPy secured two Stellar Awards for Best Contemporary Male Vocalist of the Year and Best Group Duo of the Year, while their hit song ‘Testimony’ was recognized by Billboard Magazine as the longest-running Top 10 Gospel Radio Single.
