Asking Alexandria has distinguished itself as a prominent rock band, consistently evolving its musical style and achieving significant milestones within the metal and rock genres. After releasing their debut album, Stand Up and Scream, in 2009, Asking Alexandria quickly established themselves as a formidable force in rock, charting on the Top Heatseekers, Top Hard Rock Albums, and Top Independent Albums in the US. The band, signed to Sumerian Records the same year, saw their singles ‘Final Episode (Let’s Change the Channel)’ and ‘Not the American Average’ each achieve RIAA Gold certification, selling over 500,000 copies. Their early career included extensive touring across America and Europe, supporting notable bands such as Evergreen Terrace, Alesana, We Came as Romans, and Attack Attack!, alongside appearances at significant festivals including The Bamboozle and Thrash & Burn.
This partnership led to their seventh album, See What’s on the Inside, later that same year, demonstrating their continued commitment to diverse rock influences. Most recently, Asking Alexandria released their eighth album, Where Do We Go from Here?, in 2023, which further highlighted their dynamic artistic progression. In 2024, guitarist Ben Bruce departed the band, marking a new chapter as the group continues to perform and release new material, solidifying their enduring presence and adaptability within the global rock landscape.
