Brian Fallon

Brian Michael Fallon was born on January 28, 1980, in Red Bank, New Jersey. His early musical endeavors included releasing a cassette titled ‘The Coffeehouse Sessions’ under the name ‘No Release’ at age 17 in 1997. He also played with Amping Copper in 2001 and recorded “The American Music EP” in 2004 with Cincinnati Rail Tie. In 2004, Fallon co-founded This Charming Man, which released the album ‘Every Little Secret’ in 2005. This band evolved into The Gaslight Anthem, where he became the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and primary lyricist.

From 2006 to 2015, and again from 2022 to the present, Fallon fronted The Gaslight Anthem, releasing six studio albums including ‘Sink or Swim,’ ‘The ’59 Sound,’ and ‘History Books.’ A notable milestone occurred in 2009 when he joined Bruce Springsteen on stage at the Hard Rock Calling Festival. Beyond The Gaslight Anthem, Fallon formed the duo The Horrible Crowes in 2011, releasing their debut album ‘Elsie,’ and the Americana/folk group Molly and the Zombies in 2013. His solo career began in 2016 with the release of ‘Painkillers,’ followed by ‘Sleepwalkers’ (2018), ‘Local Honey’ (2020), and ‘Night Divine’ (2021), the latter featuring hymns and Christmas carols. His song “You Have Stolen My Heart” from ‘Local Honey’ was featured in the 2023 film ‘Scream VI.’

Fallon’s career reflects a consistent drive to create and perform across multiple genres, from punk rock to folk rock and heartland rock. Throughout his projects, he has maintained a strong connection to his New Jersey roots while evolving his sound and storytelling. His work ethic, honed through early experiences and a commitment to his craft, has allowed him to build a substantial discography and a dedicated fan base.
