Leanna Crawford

Leanna Crawford was born on June 13, 1995, in Stanwood, Washington. Even as a child, Leanna developed a deep passion for writing and playing her guitar, writing many poems and songs during her youth. She was homeschooled by her mother, an educator, alongside her three siblings. Crawford pursued higher education at Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington, where she earned a music business degree.

Her career in music officially began in 2012, when she went on a mission trip. It was there that she decided to dedicate her talents to music ministry. In 2013, she achieved her first significant milestone by winning Praise106.5’s Music Search for her song, “Moment by Moment,” which was produced by the Dove Award-winning producer, Ed Cash.

Following her graduation, Crawford moved to Nashville and signed with Story House Collective, becoming the first female artist on their roster. She has since toured extensively, sharing stages with well-known artists such as Michael W. Smith, Matthew West, Jeremy Camp, Tenth Avenue North, Matt Maher, Plumb, and Jordan Feliz. In 2018, Crawford released her six-song EP, “Crazy Beautiful You,” along with a two-track Christmas single. In October 2019, she officially signed a record deal with Provident Label Group and Story House Music. Her debut radio single, “Funeral”, was released in 2020. This was followed by “Truth I’m Standing On”, which reached the Top 30 on the Billboard Christian Airplay chart, and “Mean Girls”, which peaked in the Top 20 on the Billboard Christian Airplay chart. In 2021, Leanna was nominated for Female Artist of the Year at the K-Love Fan Awards, and in 2025, she won the Breakout Single of the Year at the K-Love Fan Awards for her song “Still Waters (Psalm 23)”. Her studio album “Still Waters” was released in July 2024, reaching No. 7 on the Top Christian Albums chart.
