BRS KASH

Kenneth Duncan Jr., known professionally as BRS Kash, was born on May 15, 1993, in Atlanta, Georgia. Growing up, he was influenced by hip-hop artists such as Kilo Ali, Raheem the Dream, and Outkast. This early exposure to Atlanta’s vibrant music scene shaped his artistic direction and contributed to his eventual career in music as a rapper, singer, and songwriter. His early career saw him developing his craft in the Southern hip-hop and trap genres, laying the groundwork for his future success.

BRS Kash achieved significant recognition with the release of his debut single, “Throat Baby (Go Baby),” on November 22, 2019. The song gained considerable traction in 2020 through its virality on TikTok, leading to its commercial success. This viral sensation led to BRS Kash signing a partnership deal with Love Renaissance (LVRN) and Interscope Records in August 2020. The track further solidified his presence in the music industry, peaking at number 24 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and achieving double platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The song also reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart.

Following the success of his breakthrough single, BRS Kash released his debut mixtape, “Kash Only,” on January 22, 2021. The mixtape featured the popular remix of “Throat Baby (Go Baby),” which included collaborations with notable artists DaBaby and City Girls. His project “Kash Only” charted on the Billboard 200, peaking at number 98. Throughout his career, BRS Kash has engaged in various collaborations, including tracks with Mulatto (also known as Latto) and Toosii, further expanding his artistic reach and building a substantial discography.
