Cabbage

Cabbage was a Manchester-based quintet known for its idiosyncratic, satirical post-punk sound, delivering politically charged music from 2014 to 2021. After quickly gaining attention for their irreverent humor, energetic live shows, and politically charged lyrics, the Manchester-based quintet Cabbage rapidly established their distinctive post-punk sound. Comprised of co-frontmen Lee Broadbent and Joe Martin, guitarist Eoghan Clifford, bassist Stephen Evans, and drummer Asa Morley, the band delivered politically charged music throughout their career. Their debut EP, ‘Le Chou,’ was released in early 2016, immediately capturing critical interest.

After six years of influential music and memorable performances, Cabbage announced their decision to split in November 2021. The band concluded their acclaimed career with a final tour, allowing their dedicated fanbase one last opportunity to experience their powerful live shows, alongside the release of a comprehensive B-side collection. Cabbage’s legacy endures as a powerful and idiosyncratic voice in modern rock, celebrated for their sharp wit and unwavering commitment to socially conscious songwriting.
