Chloe Moriondo was born in Detroit, Michigan, on September 29, 2002. She began her musical journey at a young age, learning piano and ukulele. By 2014, at 12 years old, she started posting original songs and covers on YouTube, quickly gaining a following. These early efforts contributed to her development as a singer-songwriter known for her blend of indie pop, indie rock, and bedroom pop elements. Her consistent online presence played a role in establishing her initial audience and career foundation.
Moriondo independently released her first album, “Rabbit Hearted.”, on July 31, 2018. This was followed by her first EP, “Spirit Orb,” released on April 24, 2020. A significant career milestone occurred in August 2020 when she signed with Fueled by Ramen, leading to the release of her single “I Want to Be with You.” On May 7, 2021, she released her debut studio album, “Blood Bunny,” which included the singles “I Want to Be with You” and “Girl on TV.” The same year, she made her late-night television debut, performing “Bodybag” from “Blood Bunny” on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” She also performed a variation of “I Want to Be with You” on “The Late Late Show with James Corden.” In 2024 and 2025, she continued to release music, including the single “Shoreline” (2025) and the album “Oyster” (2025).
Her career has involved collaborations with various artists, such as mxmtoon, Cavetown, Pierce The Veil, and Dillon Francis. In April 2022, Moriondo released her second EP, “puppy luv,” and a deluxe edition of “Blood Bunny” in June 2022. She embarked on a North America tour with mxmtoon from May to June 2022. Her album “SUCKERPUNCH” was released in October 2022, followed by a tour in the United States and Canada that concluded in November 2022. In October 2023, she released her third EP, “Hell Sounds,” a Halloween compilation featuring tracks from previous albums. Her ongoing work continues to be characterized by her distinctive musical style and engagement with her audience.
