Chris Young is a Grammy-nominated recording artist and songwriter known for his traditional country music style and dynamic live performances. After winning season four of the reality singing competition program ‘Nashville Star’ in 2006, Chris Young signed a contract with RCA Records Nashville, leading to the release of his self-titled debut album the same year. The album featured singles ‘Drinkin’ Me Lonely’ and ‘You’re Gonna Love Me.’ His career rapidly gained momentum with his second album, ‘The Man I Want to Be,’ released in 2009, which produced three number one singles: ‘Gettin’ You Home (The Black Dress Song),’ ‘The Man I Want to Be,’ and the re-released ‘Voices.’ The success of ‘Gettin’ You Home’ also earned Young a Grammy Award nomination for Best Male Country Vocal Performance in 2010. Young continued his commercial success with his third album, ‘Neon’ (2011), which delivered two more number one hits: ‘Tomorrow’ and ‘You.’ ‘Tomorrow’ marked his fourth consecutive number one single and his first platinum-selling single, while ‘You’ became his fifth consecutive chart-topper.
Under this new partnership, he released his first single, ‘Til the Last One Dies,’ in 2025. This was followed by the announcement of his tenth studio album, ‘I Didn’t Come Here to Leave,’ which is scheduled for release in October 2025.
