Des Rocs

Danny Rocco, professionally known as Des Rocs, is an American rock musician hailing from Long Island’s Nassau County, New York. His musical journey began at the age of 13, performing in local bars and basements. Rocco’s early career included his band Secret Weapons, which opened for notable groups such as Panic! at the Disco, Fall Out Boy, and Weezer. This experience provided foundational touring and performance exposure before the band entered a permanent hiatus due to a bandmate’s health issues. Des Rocs later emerged as Rocco’s solo project, characterized by a distinctive blend of hard rock, glam rock, and alternative rock, drawing influences from artists like Elvis Presley, Jimi Hendrix, and Muse, while striving for an individual sound.

Since launching the Des Rocs project in 2018, Rocco has released several EPs and studio albums. His debut EP, “Let The Vultures In,” was released in November 2018, followed by “Martyr Parade” in 2019 and “This Is Our Life” in 2020. The year 2021 marked the release of his debut full-length album, “A Real Good Person In A Real Bad Place,” which coincided with his “Alive” tour across the United States. Following this, the “Once In A Lifetime” tour in 2022 further expanded his reach. In 2023, Des Rocs signed with Sumerian Records and released his second studio album, “Dream Machine.” His music has been featured in collaborations, including a track with Zayn Malik in 2025 for “Borderlands 4,” demonstrating his ability to integrate into broader entertainment projects.

Des Rocs has built a reputation for electrifying live performances, touring with major rock acts such as Muse, The Rolling Stones, The Cult, Kaleo, and The Struts. His active engagement with fans and consistent output of new music and touring schedules highlight his commitment to evolving his sound and maintaining a strong presence in the rock music scene. Through his dedicated work, Des Rocs continues to develop his career as a prominent figure in contemporary rock.
