About

Dirty Honey was formed in Los Angeles in 2017 by vocalist Marc LaBelle, guitarist John Notto, bassist Justin Smolian, and drummer Corey Coverstone. The band’s formation took place after Notto and LaBelle decided to collaborate, with Smolian joining, and Coverstone completing the lineup. Their early performances included a notable show on Sunset Boulevard, which solidified their commitment to the band.

In March 2019, Dirty Honey self-released their debut extended play, also titled “Dirty Honey.” This release included the single “When I’m Gone,” which achieved significant success by topping the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart. This accomplishment was notable as it marked the first time an unsigned band had reached number one on this chart. The band’s recognition grew further when they were selected as an iHeartRadio On the Verge Artist, leading to increased airplay and visibility. They subsequently became known for their hard rock, blues rock, and classic rock revival sound.

Dirty Honey’s career progressed with touring opportunities that included opening for established acts such as Slash in 2018 and 2019, The Who in 2019, and later Guns N’ Roses. Their debut full-length album, “Dirty Honey,” was released in April 2021, and their sophomore album, “Can’t Find The Brakes,” followed in November 2023. Jaydon Bean replaced Corey Coverstone on drums in 2023, embarking on the band’s first European headlining tour. The band has consistently toured and released music, building a discography that includes EPs, studio albums, and singles, with several tracks charting on Mainstream Rock, Rock Airplay, and Canadian Rock charts.
