About

Tabatha Robinson, known professionally as DreamDoll, was born on February 28, 1992, and raised in the Edenwald Projects in the Eastchester neighborhood of the Bronx, New York. She attended Bronx Academy High School and later pursued higher education at Westchester College and Herkimer Community College. Prior to her career in entertainment, DreamDoll gained initial recognition working as a bartender at the popular New York strip club, Starlets, where she became known as a ‘Startender.’ This role helped her accumulate a notable social media following, primarily through Instagram, which laid the groundwork for her entry into reality television.

DreamDoll’s career in mainstream media began in September 2016 when she joined the cast of season 16 of Oxygen’s reality TV series, “Bad Girls Club: Social Disruption.” The following year, she further expanded her reality television presence by appearing on VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop: New York.” In 2017, she transitioned into music, signing with DJ Self’s Gwinnin Entertainment and releasing her debut single, “Everything Nice,” which garnered over 8 million views for its music video. That same year, she released her first mixtape, “Life In Plastic,” featuring 14 tracks, and became a brand ambassador for Fashion Nova, marking her early success in both entertainment and brand collaborations. She continued to release music videos for tracks from her mixtape, including “Team Dream,” “We All Love Dream,” and “Ice Cream.”

Her career progressed with the release of her second mixtape, “Life In Plastic:2,” in September 2018, which included collaborations with artists like Lil’ Kim and Cupcakke. This release was accompanied by a headlining concert and a music video for the single “Bundles.” The mixtape gained renewed attention in January 2019 when it re-entered the iTunes Hip Hop & Rap charts, peaking at number two, following her diss track “On Ya Head” aimed at Tory Lanez, which showcased her distinctive ‘nightmare flow.’ DreamDoll signed a joint record deal with RCA Records and Brooklyn Johnny’s District 18 Entertainment in early 2019, leading to the release of her single “Who You Loving” featuring G-Eazy in 2020. She also became a brand ambassador for Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty lingerie line. In August 2021, DreamDoll signed a record deal with Warner Records and WME Agency, followed by her performance on the Main Stage at Hot 97 Summer Jam. Her music was featured on the soundtrack for Halle Berry’s Netflix movie “Bruised” and she joined the BET+ series “College Hill: Celebrity Edition” in 2022. She also became a main cast member on VH1’s “The Impact: New York” in 2024, continuing to blend her music career with reality television and acting roles such as Meena in the MTV stoner movie “Pretty Stoned.”
