Edgar Eugene Roland, Jr. is a celebrated American musician renowned for his role as the lead vocalist and primary songwriter of the rock band Collective Soul. His journey into the music industry began with a profound influence from Elton John’s Greatest Hits, which sparked his passion for rock music. After honing his skills in songwriting and guitar at Berklee College of Music, Roland gained invaluable experience as the lead engineer and producer at Real 2 Reel Studios in Georgia.
