Flatland Cavalry established itself as a significant presence in country and Americana music with their debut full-length album, ‘Humble Folks,’ released on April 1, 2016. The album achieved commercial success, peaking at number 17 on the Billboard Americana/Folk albums chart and number 38 on the Top Country Albums chart. Formed by Cleto Cordero (vocals, acoustic guitar) and Jason Albers (drums, percussion) in 2012, the band quickly expanded to include Jonathan Saenz (bass), Reid Dillon (electric guitar), and Laura Jane (violin) by 2014. Their early career gained traction with a successful crowdfunding campaign, raising $5,000 in just eight days for their debut EP, ‘Come May,’ released in May 2015, setting the stage for their chart-topping album.

In July 2018, the band’s core lineup was solidified with the addition of Wesley Hall (fiddle), alongside Adam Gallegos (piano, organ, keys, mandolin, banjo), following Laura Janes departure. This lineup went on to release their second acclaimed studio album, ‘Homeland Insecurity,’ in 2019, lauded for its developed songwriting and distinctive sound. Flatland Cavalry continued to build their discography with the album ‘Welcome to Countryland’ in 2021 and the EP ‘Songs To Keep You Warm’ in 2022. Their continued success led to a significant signing with Interscope Records for their highly anticipated fourth studio album, ‘Wandering Star,’ released on October 27, 2023, which featured 13 solo tracks and a collaboration with Kaitlin Butts.

They have shared stages with revered artists including Willie Nelson, Luke Combs, and Lainey Wilson, underscoring their broad appeal and significant impact within the country music landscape.
