Freddy Jones Band has established itself as a prominent roots rock act, celebrating over three decades of music and touring. After their hit single ‘In A Daydream’ reached number 27 on the Mainstream Rock Chart in September 1994, the Freddy Jones Band went on to establish itself as a prominent roots rock act, celebrating over three decades of music and touring. The band’s self-titled debut album was initially released independently in the early 1990s before being picked up and re-released by Capricorn Records. Their first single, ‘Take the Time,’ also performed well, showcasing their melodic and folk/blues-influenced style.
Looking ahead to significant anniversaries, the band plans to commemorate 30 years since their 1995 album North Avenue Wakeup Call and 10 years since Never Change in 2025. Demonstrating their ongoing commitment to new material, the Freddy Jones Band is set to release the single ‘No Money in Vegas’ on March 25, 2025. The band continues to perform and record with its current lineup, featuring frontman Marty Lloyd, Rich Ross on bass and backing vocals, Ben Loshin on drums, and Rockwell Jacobs on guitar and backing vocals.
