Geese

Geese is an American rock band that formed in Brooklyn, New York, known for their indie rock, art rock, and post-punk sound. After attracting significant attention from record labels with their self-produced demos, the Brooklyn-formed rock band Geese signed with Partisan Records, leading to the release of their critically acclaimed label debut, Projector, on October 29, 2021. Formed in 2016 by Cameron Winter (vocals, keyboards, guitar), Emily Green (guitar), Dominic DiGesu (bass), Max Bassin (drums), and then-member Foster Hudson (guitar), Geese initially honed their indie rock, art rock, and post-punk sound through independent releases including the EP (2018), the album A Beautiful Memory (2018), and Bottomless Pink Lagoon (2019). Their breakthrough album, Projector, recorded in Bassin’s basement from late 2019 to early 2020 and mixed by Dan Carey, achieved a Metacritic average of 83 out of 100, featuring notable singles like ‘Disco,’ ‘Low Era,’ and the title track ‘Projector.’ Following this success, Geese released their third studio album, 3D Country, on June 23, 2023, produced by James Ford.

This was followed by the announcement of their highly anticipated fourth studio album, Getting Killed, on July 8, 2025, simultaneously releasing its first single, ‘Taxes.’ Additional singles ‘Trinidad’ and ‘100 Horses’ swiftly followed the album’s announcement. Getting Killed was released on September 26, 2025, achieving significant chart performance by appearing on the Billboard 200, ARIA Charts, Irish Albums Chart, NZ Top 40 Albums, and UK Albums Chart. The band celebrated the album’s release with a performance of ‘Taxes’ on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on October 1, 2025, showcasing their electrifying live presence.

Looking ahead, August 2025 saw discussions emerge regarding a potential fifth studio album, with early collaborations with acclaimed producer Kenny Beats already underway, signaling Geese’s continued artistic ambition and trajectory.
