Goodbye June

Goodbye June, a rock band from Nashville, Tennessee, was established in 2009 by cousins Landon Milbourn (lead vocals, tambourine), Brandon Qualkenbush (rhythm guitar, bass, drums, backing vocals), and Tyler Baker (lead guitar). The band’s formation took place after the death of Tyler Baker’s brother in June, inspiring the band’s name as a tribute. Their music merges hard rock with influences from deep South blues and gospel swing. The band began their recording career with the independent debut album “Nor The Wild Music Flow” in 2012, released through CVR.

Over their career, Goodbye June has toured extensively across the United States, as well as in the UK, Germany, Sweden, Finland, The Netherlands, Norway, Belgium, France, and Spain. They signed with Interscope Records, a Universal Music Group related company, releasing the EP “Danger In The Morning” in 2016. Their track “Oh No” achieved a US Top 30 Mainstream Rock single in 2016. The band’s music has been featured in various media, including Madden 17, NFL, WWE, and ESPN College Football broadcasts, demonstrating its broad appeal.

Key milestones include their 2017 album “Magic Valley” released through Cotton Valley Music / Interscope Records. Subsequent albums include “Community Inn” in 2019 and “See Where The Night Goes” in 2022, both released via Earache Records / Cotton Valley Music. The album “See Where The Night Goes” notably reached #33 on the UK Albums Chart, #1 on the UK Rock Chart, and #20 on the Offizielle Deutsche Charts. On the Billboard charts, the album achieved #12 on the Current Hard Music chart, #18 on the Top New Artist chart, and #128 on the Billboard 200 chart. The band continues to release new music, with their latest album “Deep In the Trouble” arriving in 2024.
