Hot Mulligan made an immediate impact following their formation in 2014, quickly establishing their presence within the emo scene with the release of two EPs, ‘Fenton’ and ‘Honest & Cunning,’ in 2015 through Save Your Generation Records. Their early success culminated in signing with No Sleep Records in 2017, leading to the re-release of their EP ‘Opportunities’ that same year, which further solidified their growing fanbase. The band’s current lineup features lead vocalist Nathan ‘Tades’ Sanville, rhythm guitarist and co-lead vocalist Chris Freeman, lead guitarist Ryan Malicsi, bassist Jonah Kramer, and drummer Brandon Blakeley, whose collective efforts have defined their sound blending emo, pop punk, post-hardcore, and Midwest emo. Under No Sleep Records, Hot Mulligan released their debut full-length album, ‘Pilot,’ in 2018, which was followed by their second album, ‘Youll Be Fine,’ in 2020.
This album swiftly achieved commercial success, reaching position #175 on the Billboard 200, marking a significant chart milestone for the band. Beyond traditional album releases, Hot Mulligan expanded their creative portfolio by composing the song ‘Prototheme’ for AEW professional wrestler Kyle Fletcher, demonstrating their versatile engagement across entertainment platforms.
