I M With Her

I’m With Her is an acclaimed American band formed by three talented singer-songwriters and multi-instrumentalists: Sara Watkins, Sarah Jarosz, and Aoife O’Donovan. The trio began their musical journey together at the 2014 Telluride Bluegrass Festival, where they were invited to collaborate. Their first performance took place at the Celtic Connections festival in January 2015, and they quickly gained recognition for their harmonious blend of folk and bluegrass influences. The group adopted the name “I’m With Her” in early 2015, which later gained cultural significance during the 2016 presidential campaign.

In 2018, I’m With Her released their debut album, “See You Around,” which was co-produced by Ethan Johns and recorded at Real World Studios in England. The album showcased their songwriting prowess, with all but one track penned by the trio. Their music resonated with audiences, leading to extensive tours across the U.S. and Europe, further solidifying their reputation in the folk music scene. The album’s success laid the groundwork for their future endeavors.

The band’s significant achievement came at the 62nd Grammy Awards in January 2020, where they won the Grammy Award for Best American Roots Song for their track “Call My Name.” This recognition highlighted their exceptional talent and contribution to the genre, showcasing their ability to create impactful music that resonates with listeners.
