Alfa Mist is a British multi-instrumentalist, rapper, and producer known for his genre-blending approach to music. After releasing his first solo EP, Nocturne, in 2015, Alfa Mist quickly established himself as a distinctive multi-instrumentalist, rapper, and producer known for his genre-blending approach to music. Pioneering a unique sound that fuses hip-hop and club elements with jazz improvisation, Alfa Mist taught himself piano by ear, developing a self-directed musicality. His career progressed with consistent output, including his debut album Antiphon in 2017, followed by the EP 7 October (Epilogue) in 2018, and the critically acclaimed album Structuralism in 2019, showcasing his artistic vision and expansive jazz arrangements.
Alfa Mist continued his prolific pace with the re-release of the album Epoch with Emmavie in 2020, and the solo EP On My Ones later that same year. He further solidified his independent spirit by heading his own label, Sekito, which serves as a platform for his own music and to support other emerging artists. In 2021, Alfa Mist released his album Bring Backs on Anti- Records, further expanding his discography and showcasing his diverse musical engagement through collaborations with various artists, composing neoclassical pieces, and reinterpreting established works. The year 2021 also saw Alfa Mist performing at the renowned We Out Here Festival and receiving a nomination for a MOBO Award, underscoring his growing recognition within the industry.
In November 2025, he will mark a significant career milestone with a headline performance at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall, promising a captivating showcase of his evolving artistry and musical prowess.
