The album achieved commercial success, reaching number 9 on the Heatseekers Albums chart and number 28 on the Independent Albums chart in the US, with sales of 2,400 units. Critical reception highlighted its raw and organic sound. The album’s release also saw him featured on Spotify’s Fresh Folk playlist cover image in June 2019.
