Indiana Massara

Indiana Massara was born on August 23, 2002, in Coolbinia, a suburb of Perth, Western Australia. Her early life included an interest in sports and attending Mercedes College. At the age of 13, Massara decided to move to Los Angeles, California, to pursue a career in entertainment, joining her parents and older brother. This move marked the beginning of her professional journey in the United States.

Her career gained traction in 2017 when she joined Brat, a digital network. She secured the role of Rooney Forrester in the popular series “Chicken Girls,” a character she portrayed across multiple spin-offs and films, including “Chicken Girls: The Movie” (2018). In addition to acting, Massara hosted “Brat Chat” and performed the theme song “Run You Down” for the series “Red Ruby.” Her music career also took off in 2017 with her debut single “Drama” featuring Stoppa, which reached the top ten on Radio Disney. She continued to release singles such as “Smoke In My Eyes” (2018), “Apology” (2018) featuring 24hrs, and “Squeeze” (2020), achieving radio play in the USA, Australia, and Canada.

Massara’s career progression expanded into touring and hosting. In October 2018, she embarked on her first tour in Australia, performing alongside Tayler Holder, Zach Clayton, and Joey Birlem. The following year, in June 2019, she opened for artists like Why Don’t We, Bryce Vine, and Ava Max at 103.7 KISS-FM’s “Kiss the Summer Hello” event. In 2020, Massara co-launched the podcast “Dropouts” with Zach Justice and Jared Bailey, featuring various public figures. Her film work includes playing Paige in “Hero Mode” (2021) and Jess in “The Crusades” (2023), further diversifying her professional portfolio.
