Jason Derulo is a globally recognised American pop artist with eleven multi-platinum singles and four studio albums under his belt. Kicking off his solo recording career in 2009, he’s since sold 30 million records worldwide, working alongside 2 Chainz, Snoop Dogg, Tyga, Nicki Minaj and Jennifer Lopez and taking home Teen Choice, YouTube and BMI Awards.
Before rising to prominence as a solo artist, Derulo helped to write songs for a host of successful artists, including Pitbull, Lil Wayne and Cassie. After a major-label deal with Beluga Heights Records, he released his chart-storming debut single ‘Whatcha Say’ in 2009. Shooting to No 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, the track was eventually certified triple-platinum, going on to become the lead single from Derulo’s self-titled debut album. That record also featured the internationally successful single ‘In My Head’, which would peak in several countries worldwide and help DeRulo break into the British and Australian markets.
Since his explosive debut, Jason Derulo has become one of the world’s most successful pop artists. Releasing three further studio albums and two compilations, he’s made a name for himself as a stellar live performer, capable of filling stadium-sized venues in countries worldwide: 2018 saw Derulo headline V Festival and perform at the MTV Europe Music Awards before taking in sold-out stops across Britain, Europe and the USA.
