Discovered in 1998 by host Jacky Wu, Chou began as a contract composer for Alfa Music. His 2001 album, ‘Fantasy,’ sold an estimated two million copies in Taiwan, earning five Golden Melody Awards in 2002.
He made his directorial debut with ‘Secret’ (2007) and took roles in ‘Curse of the Golden Flower’ (2006) and portraying Kato in ‘The Green Hornet’ (2011). His musical output remained prolific with albums like ‘November’s Chopin’ (2005), supported by ‘The World Tour’ (2007-2009) and ‘The Era World Tour’ (2010).
