Jayda

Janelle Amanda Loyola Avanzado, professionally known as Jayda, was born on June 1, 2003. The daughter of renowned Filipino artists Dingdong Avanzado and Jessa Zaragoza, Jayda inherited a foundational understanding of the music industry. She formally began her professional career in December 2017 when she signed with Cornerstone Entertainment. In June 2018, she released her debut EP, “In My Room,” marking her entry into the recording industry. Concurrently, she joined the teen pop group ASAP G!, performing alongside notable young talents such as Darren Espanto, Ylona Garcia, Jeremy Glinoga, Kyle Echarri, and Lala Vinzon.

Jayda’s career continued to develop with strategic transitions and significant achievements. In 2021, she moved from Cornerstone Entertainment to join Rise Artists Studio and also signed a contract with Star Magic. That same year, she held her first major digital concert, “Jayda in Concert,” on June 26. Expanding her artistic reach, she ventured into acting, making her debut in the series “Teen Clash” on March 17, 2023, where she played the role of Zoe. Her musical accomplishments were recognized when she won “Best New Female Recording Artist” at the 32nd Awit Awards in 2019 and “Female Pop Artist of the Year” at the 13th PMPC Star Awards for Music in 2022 for her song “Sana Tayo Na.”

In recent years, Jayda has solidified her position as a multi-talented artist. In 2023, she signed with Republic Records Philippines, a move that indicates her sustained focus on music production and distribution. In 2025, she further expanded her management by signing a co-management contract with Viva Artists Agency, in collaboration with Universal Music Group Philippines and Viva Records. This partnership is anticipated to open new opportunities in film, television, and various brand collaborations. Jayda continuously focuses on authentic and concept-based songwriting, producing music that resonates with a broad audience.
