Karley Scott Collins

Karley Scott Collins was born on December 14, 1999, in Lake City, Florida. She began her career as an actress at the age of six, securing a role in the CBS sitcom “The Class” from 2006 to 2007, where she played Oprah Pearl. Her early acting career also included a role as the younger version of Paris Hilton in the 2008 film “The Hottie & the Nottie,” and a significant part in the 2010 TV movie “Amish Grace.” She also lent her voice to the character Gisela in the 2010 animated film “Open Season 3” and played Gretel in ABC’s “Once Upon a Time” in 2012, in addition to portraying young Olivia Dunham in an episode of “Fringe” in 2011.

At the age of nine, Collins learned to play the guitar for an acting audition, which sparked her interest in music. This pivotal experience led her to maintain a notebook of phrases, stories, and lyrics, with the long-term goal of pursuing a career in country music. In 2019, she moved to Nashville and secured a publishing deal, marking a significant turning point in her career. During this period, she collaborated with notable figures in the music industry, including Liz Rose, Brock Berryhill, Nathan Chapman, and Brett James, honing her songwriting and vocal abilities.

Collins signed with Sony Music Nashville and released her debut track, “Heavenly,” in February 2022. She continued to release singles such as “Tattoos” and “Better Strangers” later that year. In 2023, she released the tribute track “Petty in the 80s” and followed with her Sony Music Nashville EP, “Hands on the Wheel,” in May. Her single “Marlboro Reds” was recognized by Billboard magazine in February 2024 as one of its “5 Must-Hear New Country Songs.” Collins was also named to CMT’s Next Women of Country Class of 2024 and made her Grand Ole Opry debut on June 26, 2024. Her second EP, “Write One,” was released in June 2024, featuring a collaboration with Keith Urban on the title track. She released her debut album, “Flight Risk,” on September 26, 2024, and is scheduled to open for Keith Urban on his 2025 “High and Alive” World Tour, having previously opened for Willie Nelson and toured with Carly Pearce, Nate Smith, and Corey Kent.
