Buzzy Lee, also known as Sasha Spielberg, is a musician and actress recognized for her evocative songwriting and collaborative work with electronic artists, offering a unique artistic perspective to diverse audiences. After releasing her debut solo EP ‘Facepaint’ on April 27, 2018, produced by Nicolas Jaar, Buzzy Lee established herself as a distinctive voice in contemporary music. This solo launch followed a diverse artistic foundation, where she first gained recognition as an actress, appearing in films such as ‘The Terminal’ (2004), ‘Munich’ (2005), ‘Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull’ (2008), and ‘The Post’ (2017). Her early musical endeavors included performing with her brother Theo in the band Wardell, previously known as Brother/Sister, which released their debut EP ‘The Accidental Zoo’ in April 2011 and the album ‘Love/Idleness’ in 2015.

Her latest album, ‘Internal Affairs,’ was released on March 31, 2023, receiving critical attention for its evocative songwriting and demonstrating her refined artistic vision. Most recently, in 2024, Lee once again reunited with JPEGMafia, lending her distinctive vocals to the tracks ‘Don’t Put Anything On the Bible’ and ‘I Lay Down My Life For You’ from his highly anticipated album ‘I Lay Down My Life for You.’ These ongoing high-profile collaborations and acclaimed solo releases underscore her unique artistic perspective and sustained relevance in the contemporary music landscape.
