Kevin Cronin

Kevin Cronin is an American singer, musician, and songwriter, widely recognized as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for the rock band REO Speedwagon, known for his vocal contributions to hit songs and touring performances. After joining the iconic rock band REO Speedwagon in 1971 as its distinctive lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, Kevin Cronin quickly established himself as a prolific songwriter, driving the band to multi-platinum success and an enduring chart presence. Following the release of the 1972 album R.E.O./T.W.O., Cronin, after a brief solo venture, rejoined the group in 1976, ushering in their most celebrated era. His leadership culminated in the 1980 album Hi Infidelity, which sold over 10 million copies, solidifying the band’s status as rock legends.

However, in a strategic move, he announced his intention to continue performing the band’s beloved music and new material under a new name, alongside the current touring members: Dave Amato on guitar, Bryan Hitt on drums, Derek Hilland on keys, and Matt Bissonette on bass. This ensures Cronin’s continuous musical legacy and ongoing engagement with audiences worldwide.
