Kevin Federline

Kevin Earl Federline was born on March 21, 1978, in Fresno, California. His early life involved a family move to Carson City, Nevada, and later a return to Fresno. He left high school in the ninth grade, subsequently obtaining a General Educational Development certificate, and worked delivering pizzas. In 1996, Federline moved to Los Angeles to pursue a dance career. He became a backup dancer for notable artists such as Aaliyah, Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Destiny’s Child, Pink, and LFO. His early dance career included appearances in television sitcoms like “Nikki” (2001-2002) as a Dirt Track Dancer and “The Drew Carey Show” (2001) as Dancer #7, along with an uncredited role in “Will & Grace” (2002) as an Angel Dancer for Cher. He also featured in a Target Corporation commercial and music videos for artists like Christina Milian (“AM to PM,” 2001), Pink (“Get the Party Started,” 2001), and Justin Timberlake (“Like I Love You,” 2002). His film debut as a dancer was in “You Got Served” (2004).

Federline’s career gained wider public attention following his relationship and marriage to pop singer Britney Spears. In 2005, he starred alongside Spears in the UPN reality television series “Britney & Kevin: Chaotic.” This series documented their relationship, courtship, engagement, and wedding. He earned a nomination for a Choice TV: Male Reality/Variety Star at the 2005 Teen Choice Awards for his role. Federline ventured into music, releasing his debut album, “Playing with Fire,” in 2006. This period also saw him engage in professional wrestling appearances with WWE in 2006, leading to a match against John Cena. He participated in a Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company commercial during Super Bowl XLI in 2007. Later, he explored acting roles in the CW series “One Tree Hill” (2008), “The Onion Movie” (2008), and “American Pie Presents: The Book of Love” (2009).

From 2010 onwards, Federline moved into reality television focused on weight loss, appearing in VH1’s “Celebrity Fit Club” (2010), where he lost 30 pounds, and Australia’s “Excess Baggage” (2012). He transitioned to a career as a DJ, performing at various clubs and events starting in 2015. He also made a cameo in a Jack in the Box television commercial in 2015 and released a music video for his song “Hollywood” in 2016. In 2022, Federline appeared in an interview on the Australian show “60 Minutes,” discussing his family life. In 2025, he is scheduled to release his memoir titled “You Thought You Knew.”
