Jonathan Ryan Pardi was born on May 20, 1985, in Dixon, California, USA. He developed an early interest in country music, influenced by his grandfather’s karaoke machine. He began writing music at the age of 12 and formed his first band by 14. After graduating from Dixon High School in 2003, Pardi relocated to Nashville to pursue a career in country music. He secured a publishing deal 18 months after his arrival, marking an important step in his professional journey. In 2010, Pardi began touring as an opening act for Dierks Bentley.
Pardi released his debut single, “Missin’ You Crazy,” in March 2012, which charted on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs. His second single, “Up All Night,” released in 2013, became his first Top 10 hit. His debut studio album, *Write You a Song*, was released in January 2014 via Capitol Nashville. In May 2015, he released a six-song extended play titled *The B-Sides, 2011–2014*. His second studio album, *California Sunrise*, released in June 2016, featured two number-one Country Airplay singles, “Head Over Boots” and “Dirt on My Boots,” solidifying his position in country music. Subsequent albums, *Heartache Medication* (2019) and *Mr. Saturday Night* (2022), continued his chart success, with multiple singles reaching number one. In 2023, Pardi was inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry, a significant achievement in his career. His fifth studio album, *Honkytonk Hollywood*, is scheduled for release in 2025.
Throughout his career, Pardi has performed on various tours, including headlining and supporting acts for artists such as Alan Jackson, Dierks Bentley, Kip Moore, Miranda Lambert, and Luke Bryan. He has also made television appearances on shows like *The Bachelorette* and *American Idol*, and hosted CMT’s digital variety series *Pardi Time*. His work has earned him multiple awards and nominations, including New Artist of the Year at the Country Music Association Awards in 2017 and New Male Vocalist of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards in the same year. He continues to be an active force in the country music scene, known for his consistent output and traditional country sound.
