Her singing career launched when her debut single, ‘The Loco-Motion,’ became the best-selling single of the decade in Australia in 1987. She signed with PWL Records, collaborating with Stock/Aitken/Waterman on five albums and a greatest hits, resulting in over 20 consecutive UK top ten hits.
